Growing up in southern Australia, Amethyst lives close to the beach. As such, it was fitting that her first sold painting was an oil painting of the beach. 

Amethyst has won many art awards as a part of the Royal Adelaide Show since they were very young. They were recently a part of the Centenarian Project and the Disabled artist’s ‘Unmasked’ exhibition where she sold most of her entries. They have 6 years of art classes under their belt and countless finished sketchbooks. Both queer and autistic, Amethyst has used her unique vision to create portraiture and fantastical art.
